Why Hive?

Because there’s a better way to network. Hive was born out of the desire to foster long-term relationships with other businesses while also being financially attainable for a variety of people on their business journey. 

We believe relationships are a key part of being able to refer well. How likely are you to do business with someone you just met, who pushed their card on you at a “networking event”? Likely, you didn’t even keep their information. What if you met with and got to know other businesses through weekly relational growth? Then it’s a piece of cake to refer them because you’ve built trust and confidence! 

Additionally, we know that large and small businesses alike are constantly trying to minimize costs. We deliberated hard about the price for Hive, desiring to only keep what was necessary for the group to thrive. Transparency with those funds was also important to us and we share where each percentage goes so members can be confident about their investment. 

Lastly, we wanted to build a group that only had one business per category. Why? Because two or three creates dissension, not unity. Just think of walking into a meeting every week, fighting for your spot or potential business. Yah, we wouldn’t be motivated to participate either. 

Monthly Prize

In order to foster growth and reward members who are being true collaborative networkers (not only growing their own business, but others as well), there is a monthly Connection Culture Prize. One entry per Connection (bringing a potential custom to another member) will be added for a gift card drawing that takes place the first meeting of the month. Exact amount based on group size ($5 for every member).

Giving Back

Giving to others is a core belief for Hive. For every nine paying members, the group will sponsor one young entrepreneur for one year at no cost! Ages 12-25 may apply from September 1-30 every year. They must be able to fulfill the requirements of any other member. If applicants are under 18, their legal guardian must also attend the meeting

and any other event related to the group. All applicants are then interviewed and voted on by members for start in late October.

Anyone can visit up to three times in one year without becoming a member, so feel free to come check us out! We meet Thursdays at 8:15AM at Salvi Coffee (part of Calvary Chapel) in Vero Beach, FL.

We’d also love for you to become a part of Hive! If your business category is open, please fill out an application in full with your $25 application fee. This will hold your spot until you can be interviewed and your application can be reviewed. Once approved and your yearly contribution fee of $185 is paid, you can join us full time! *insert cheers*
